MEASUREMENT GUIDE

Tops/Shirts:

• Bust/Chest - from underarm to underarm and doubled
• Waist - at the natural waist from left to right and doubled
• Sleeve - from shoulder seam to arm opening
• Total Length - from shoulder to hem
• Measurement Across The Back - from sleeve seam to sleeve seam

Skirts:

• Waist - at the natural waist from left to right and doubled
• Hips - at the hips from left to right and doubled
• Total Length - from top to bottom

Dresses:

• Bust - from underarm to underarm and doubled
• Waist - at the natural waist from left to right and doubled
• Hips - at the hips from left to right and doubled
• Sleeve - from shoulder seam to arm opening
• Total Length - from shoulder to hem
• Measurement Across The Back - from sleeve seam to sleeve seam

Jackets/Coats:

• Bust/Chest - from underarm to underarm and doubled
• Waist - at the natural waist from left to right and doubled
• Hips - at the hips from left to right and doubled
• Sleeve - from shoulder seam to arm opening
• Total Length - from shoulder to hem
• Measurement Across The Back - from sleeve seam to sleeve seam

Pants:

• Waist - at the natural waist from left to right and doubled
• Hips - at the hips from left to right and doubled
• Rise - from top of waist to crotch seam
• Inseam - from leg opening to crotch seam
• Leg Opening - from left to right at the leg opening and doubled

Shoes:

• Insole - from toe to heel inside of shoe
• Width - from left to right at the widest point of the underside of the shoe
• Heel - from bottom of heel to point where it meets the shoe
• Shaft Height for Boots - from top to bottom of boot shaft
• Leg Opening for Boots - from left to right and doubled at the top of the boot shaft

Scarves:

• Width - from left to right
• Length - from top to bottom

Ties:

• Total Length - from end to end of the tie
• Width - from left to right at the widest point

Hats:

• Crown Height - upward from brim
• Brim Width - total width of brim
• Total Length of Opening - from left to right of the head opening

Handbags and Wallets:

• Height - from top to bottom in the middle
• Depth - from front corner to back corner
• Width at Bottom - from left to right at the bottom base
• Width at Top - from left to right at top of handbag
• Strap Drop - from middle of fully-extended strap to middle of top handbag

Gloves:

• Arm Opening - from left to right and doubled
• Total Length - from longest finger to arm opening
• Thumb - along the thumb seam on the inside

Belts:

• Width - from top to bottom of the belt at the widest point
• Total Length - from the left end to the right end
• Length at each notch - from the left end to each notch
• Buckle Dimensions - length x width

Sunglasses:

• Height - from top to bottom on the lens
• Width - from left to right across the lenses
• Arm Length - from hinge to the end of the arm
